everyone has a different journey

Life is an extraordinary journey, full of twists and turns, and therapy serves as a valuable compass to navigate this intricate path towards a more enriched existence. As a dedicated therapist, my purpose is to empower my clients by nurturing a secure and nurturing environment, where they can fearlessly explore the profound connections between their past experiences and their present consciousness. Through this process of self-discovery, they can unlock the potential to embrace a fuller, more meaningful life.

Therapeutic Approach

Casey’s approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, and deeply rooted in understanding the mind-body connection. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities—psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, somatic experiencing, play therapy, and reflective parenting—to create a healing process that is personalized and nurturing. Casey believes that symptoms are not problems to be fixed, but adaptations that were formed to help cope with past experiences. By gently guiding clients to uncover unconscious patterns from their early lives, she helps them gain deeper self-awareness and a sense of understanding about themselves.

Through psychodynamic therapy, Casey explores how early attachment and relationships continue to shape how we feel and relate today. In the safe space of talk therapy, she invites clients to reflect on how these past experiences show up in their lives now. When trauma is present, Casey uses EMDR to support the processing and release of unprocessed memories, helping clients find peace and resolution. Somatic experiencing allows her to help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous system, and restore a sense of safety in their day-to-day lives.

For families, Casey combines play therapy and reflective parenting to nurture emotional expression and foster stronger bonds between caregivers and children. Play therapy allows children to express themselves in a way that feels natural to them, while reflective parenting helps parents tune into their children’s emotional needs with empathy and understanding.

At the heart of Casey’s work is collaboration—she strives to create an environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. She is dedicated to helping clients integrate their past experiences and develop healthier, more connected ways of relating to themselves and others. With warmth and intuition, Casey tailors her approach to each person’s unique journey, ensuring that therapy feels like a truly human and meaningful process.
